Pinghu City, Zhejiang (November 8, 2021) Koch Technology Solutions (KTS, formerly INVISTA Performance Technologies) and Zhejiang Dushan Energy Co., Ltd (Dushan Energy) have entered into an agreement to license Dushan Energy to use KTS’s PTA P8++ technology to build two PTA plants in Pinghu City, Zhejiang Province, China.
Zhejiang Dushan Energy Co., Ltd. is a wholly owned subsidiary of Xinfengming Group.
Adam Sackett, KTS Vice President of PTA, said: “We have a long history of cooperation with Xinfengming Group in polyester polymerization technology, and over the past 20 years we have licensed a total of 19 polyester polymerization plants to Xinfengming Group.
“I am delighted that Dushan Energy has selected our industry leading PTA P8++ technology. The cooperation and capability of the two teams in the kick-off meeting laid a good foundation for the project. I look forward the success of the project led by the joint efforts of each party.
“In the long run, I hope this project will create value to Dushan Energy, thus facilitating the achievement of Xinfengming’s goal of vertical integration of industrial chain.”
The kick-off meeting of the project was successfully held on November 8 at the Dushan Port, Petrochemical Industrial Park.
