KTS technology upgrades to support continued performance improvements at Noventra’s Port Qasim PTA facility
Koch Technology Solutions (KTS), the technology licensing business of Koch Engineered Solutions, today announced that Noventra Limited (formally LOTTE Chemical Pakistan Limited) has signed a Technology Upgrade Retrofit License Agreement with KTS for its purified terephthalic acid (PTA) facility in Port Qasim, Pakistan.
The agreement represents an important milestone in the longstanding relationship between Noventra and KTS and reflects Noventra ‘s continued confidence in KTS technology and technical expertise. The project will implement selected technology upgrades designed to enhance plant performance and support Noventra’s ongoing operational objectives.
Under the agreement, KTS will provide the technology license and Process Design Package (PDP) for the approved upgrade scope, establishing the technical foundation for the next phase of project development and implementation.
The project is an example of how existing PTA facilities can capture additional value through targeted modernization initiatives. By leveraging KTS’s technical capabilities and operating experience, the upgrades are expected to support improved performance while helping position the facility for continued long-term success.
